Wireless Maps
MapZone's digital street maps are now available on WAP mobile phones. You
can now get an address, petrol station, bank, ATM or any other location sent to
any WAP wireless device while on the road. Any location information including
information from the Mapzone search facilities, can now be made available to
a mobile phone. Like the web site the location is displayed on a street map,
in graphical (not textual) format and the point highlighted.
A sample mobile phone screen with colored map is shown on right. The blue circle on the screen
identifies the address "7 Queen Street, Auckland".
Another example below shows all ATMs around "32 Allen Street, Wellington".

The user can Pan around and Zoom In/Out of the maps just like the Web site, all from your
mobile phone.
Business can now deliver location information to staff while on the road or request
information from the corporate database, when out of the office.
