Market Yourself Put your Organisation on the map How often have you or your customers known of a business address, but do not know the area well enough to find it. By putting your organisation on the map, you are able to show existing and potential customers where you are and how to get there. MapZone offers two ways in which you can put your organisation on the map: Advertising. Get people's attention and promote your company with full banner, buttons or highlighted textual branding. Icon/Logo placement. Make sure everyone knows exactly where you are on the map by placing your company icon or logo on our maps. Think of the enormous amount of exposure your company will achieve when your icon appears every time the map page is displayed. Service Levels Banner Service Banners are promotional images placed on top centre of the web page, the most prominent and eye catching position of the page. They are 486 pixels wide by 60 pixels high and may consist of text, graphics or animated graphics. The size is as seen at the top of this screen. The standard banners are a single static image which are usually quite a small file size (in the order of 9K). Basic animation uses a repeating series of static images to provide the movement. The size of these banners will vary depending on the degree of animation required, with file sizes be up to 19K. We are able to use an existing banner or if you need a banner designed for your organization, then contact us and we can assist you to design one. Button Service Buttons appear on the top right corner of the web page just under the banner and apart from their size they are identical to banners. These are ideally suited for promoting and branding a company name, logo, slogan or short message. The different sizes available are: 125 x 80 pixels  125 x 30 pixels Buttons may consist of a mixture of text, graphics or animated graphics. The standard Button is basic in construction using coloured background with differrent levels of text while in basic animation a repeating series of static images is used. The size of the banner may be up to 7K in size for a basic banner and up to 15K for an animated banner. Maximum file sizes are: Standard Banner 4k Symbol or Logo 5k Basic Animation 15k Text Highlight Service Marketing yourself on the column frame for a standard business name up to a maximum of 60 characters, with only the first 20 or so characters being shown on the column. For a nominal fee your company name can be in bold lettering or highlighted so that it stands out among the others. For example: Standard text Seaside Resorts Ltd Bold / colour text         Seaside Resorts Ltd Highlight Text Seaside Resorts Ltd Icon and Logos Your organisation may wish to design your own icon or logo, to set it apart from other locations on the map.
